Cooling Relief Tea
A pleasantly refreshing blend of herbs that provides cooling relief from feeling overheated, or to soothe irritated mucosal tissue (such as urinary tract).
Ingredients:
Marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis) – soothes irritated or inflamed skin or mucous membranes; helpful in healing ailments of the intestines, useful aid in the urinary system to comfort the aggravated tissues in urinary tract infections like cystitis
Couchgrass rhizome (Elymus repens) – mucilage rich rhizome is helpful in soothing irritated urinary tract tissue; contains antibiotic and diuretic properties
Horsetail sterile shoots (Equisetum arvense) - contains silica and diuretic properties.
Alfalfa herb (Medicago sativa) - contains calcium, chlorophyll, carotene, and Vitamin K; contains plenty of fiber with anticholesterolemic properties
Peppermint leaf (Mentha piperita) – contains menthol which has a cooling and relaxing effect

Directions: Fill a container with 1-2 Tablespoons of dry herb. Pour 2 cups of cold water and let it sit overnight. Next day, strain and enjoy!
